Afscheidssymposium prof. dr. Jos Schols

Op 21 juni aanstaande om 16.00 uur precies houdt prof. dr. Jos Schols zijn afscheidsrede aan de Universiteit Maastricht. Hij neemt daarmee officieel afscheid als hoogleraar en gaat met emeritaat.

Als hoogleraar ouderengeneeskunde is Jos een belangrijke steunpilaar geweest binnen de Academische Werkplaats Ouderenzorg Limburg. Mede dankzij Jos is de AWO Limburg succesvol geworden en een voorbeeld van duurzame samenwerking in binnen- en buitenland. Als dank willen we Jos graag eren met een middagsymposium dat gehouden wordt voorafgaand aan zijn afscheidsrede.

Zowel het symposium als de afscheidsrede vinden plaats in de St. Janskerk in Maastricht, waarbij de voertaal Nederlands zal zijn. U kunt zich hier aanmelden voor het symposium

Farewell address Professor Dr. Jos Schols

On June 21st at exactly 4:00 PM, Professor Dr. Jos Schols will deliver his farewell speech at Maastricht University. With this, he officially becomes professor emeritus and enters retirement.

As a professor of community geriatrics, Jos has been a significant pillar within the Limburg Living Lab in Ageing and Long-term Care (AWO Limburg). With his contribution, the AWO Limburg has become very successful and serves as an example of sustainable collaboration between research and daily care practice, both nationally and internationally. We would like to honor Jos with an afternoon symposium held prior to his farewell address, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

Both the symposium and farewell address will take place at the St. Janskerk in Maastricht, with Dutch as the spoken language. You can register here for the symposium.
